Lifting weight and proper technique are linked with correct posture. Keeping your back straight is basic point to keep posture correct but there are some other things which are necessary for improving your posture.
Neck Should Point Straight Towards ceiling
To achieve the correct posture you don't need to move your chin inward you just need to make sure that your neck is pointing straight toward ceiling. Most of the people get advice that you should move your chin inward but moving the chin inward puts a lot of pressure on your neck. The angle between the neck and the ceiling will be perpendicular.
Try To Move Your Shoulders Back
To move your shoulders backward you do not need to force them back ward you just need to focus on your sternum which controls your rib cage if it is pointing downwards then you have correct posture otherwise if you have rounded shoulder it will not point downward.
Contract Your Abs
Most Important part for improved posture is to keep your back straight and your abs engaged if you do not feel tension on your abs while working out then you are not following other rules for correct posture. If you will keep your neck pointing towards ceiling and your back straight your abs will get engaged in the workout.
I've also noticed that controlling my breathing helps with my posture!
