Day 75 completing the #fitnesschallenge by @steemmatt! You can do at least 100 reps a day! It's really not that much so why not get started today!
Today I woke up to getting paid $30 to do 2 of my neighbors lawns while I did my own so I got up to immediately mowing three lawns. As I began my air squats I just had a feeling it wasn't going to happen. I'm not entirely sore right now but I am pretty exhausted and I could feel a slight pain in my left knee. Before I could go to sleep I ended up getting a call at 2 am with no back up driver. This was the customer I drop off not too far from my house so I was forced to do my 1.5 mile jog. This got me pumped which made me stay up later and threw me way off schedule. That's why I'm posting so late but that's life!
- Longest streak: 22 days
- Last Streak: 13 days
- Current Streak: 13 days
- Skipped Days: 9
The Challenge:
At least 100 honest reps of exercise every day. No excuses. No bullsh*t. Just actions, positivity, and results. Only post AFTER your reps are done. Always support each other. (Currently on Pause, find out why with a much needed decision to pause the challenge for a few days.
Find a challenge post here with the old rules and conditions so you can get warmed up and ready for participation for when the new guidelines are released.
In the mean time
I also want to tell you about the #50squatchallenge and the #50pushupchallenge by @notorious562! 50 easy squats and pushups every day! I'm doing 50 squats daily now so I've decided to participate in that as well. So this is also my completion of both!
My Daily Challenge Completed. Also: 2700 Reps in 9 Days (day 7): failed!
Maximum days for air squats and pushups for 2700 rep challenge in 9 days is 6 days for a total of 1350 reps. This actually shows me what I'm actually working up to. The first 6 days I did 1350 reps but the last 3 days I'm doing 1350 reps. That's the same amount of work in half the time! These numbers bum me out a bit as I feel I didn't do enough but I will have to try this challenge again!
While doing 175 pushups in one day was a first time for me in my entire life, I had to take a break today. While I know I needed a break, I just wasn't about to settle for a skip day so I got my 100 reps in. 50 air squats and 50 pushups. Since my knee is kind of hurting, I am probably going to be skipping the air squats for a few days to give my legs a rest. Will be replacing my #50airsquatchallenge with 50 situps for a few days while I rest up so I won't be completing that challenge.
50 Air Squats
- 15 reps, 10 reps
- 15 reps, 10 reps
50 Pushups
- 15 reps, 10 reps
- 15 reps, 10 reps
Total rep count: 100
Yesterday's Reps
2700 reps in 9 days (day 6) - Squats and Pushups - 350
Cumulative Tally
16,400 Reps
Meals
I woke up late for lunch and dinner was already started but I had to eat a ham & cheese while I waited. Mowing the lawns really worked up some hunger!
Dinner was BBQ Ribs, some noodles and green beans. It was filling and I've got a bit of left overs so I'm looking forward to eating more! It's always nice when the wife makes dinner! I'm still thinking about that Sushi though. I will have to go back soon and try more dishes. I want to try everything on their menu!

My Motivation
Replacing my smoking habbit with exercise! So after a good few months of not smoking I kind of picked it up again for like 2 months and now I've managed to stop again. So far I have been able to go 9 days without cigarettes. At this point, once again, the physical addiction is gone and anything is all in my head. If you can go 9 days without cigarettes you can go the rest of your life (so long as you fight through stressful moments and triggers!) Hopefully I can keep it up.
