A bipartisan bill limits the powers that towns used to have to stop the rollout by Telecommunications companies of 5G. It also says that telecoms can place 5G transmitters on local government structures such as post offices and schools -- and that the towns can't even charge market rents! It gives a 30 day window for towns to even challenge the rollout of 5G and makes it virtually impossible to do what Sebastopol, CA did -- and refuse 5G. No mention of the many proven health effects of 5G electromagnetic radiation, such as EMF sensitivity, tinnitus, headaches, dizziness and nausea. Plus transmitters don't just send out data -- they can retrive data (as Alexa does) as well. Whatever you think of 5G, this bill represents a huge Federal power grab limiting towns' and states' autonomy.
