Google Subtly Mocks the Flat Earth Theory

If it's a slow day for you, try this out:

Go to Google Translate (English to French), and type in "I'm a flat-earther."

In French, the term translates to: "Je suis un fou."

Now, I'm not a French speaker, so I decided to Google Translate this term back into English. Here's what I got:

The translation is "I'm a crazy person."

Haha, good one, Google! But here's a problem...

When people go to Google Translate, they're not asking for your editorialism; they simply want an accurate translation.

Again, you may think that flat earth theory is completely batshit crazy, and that's entirely your prerogative. However, you can't go around imposing your opinions or belief systems on a translation site -- you are here to translate, not make an opinion about some people's intellectual capacity or psychological health.

And really, this is just a microcosm of a greater problem, that people can't distinguish fact from opinion.

It is the most taboo subject I’ve ever found by far. Despite the propaganda, the trend remains the same, because the logic is too hard to ignore
