Some amazing 16th century flintlock rifles that shoot multiple times before reloading!

Collecting food and medicine from the wild. You might call it foraging, but without wiping out the basic plant stock. I will wildcraft some Mullen soon (found a large stand of it, in a stste park), but if you know what is good to eat, you can do well with zero supplies.

I had a survival course when I was 16 where we camped in the wild for a week, with no supplies. I ate well....

ok what's a Mullen?
you answered my second question about how in the world you
know what to eat...you remember from one course when you
were 16?

Mullein is an herbal that supports the lungs. I can buy it for $15 a pound, or wildcraft it for nothing.

I do remember that class (I refused to eat the spiders but had some poison ivy), but I have studied a little since then too, LOL!

there's woods around there closeby to you that you can forage in?

Yes, within a half mile it is heavily wooded here.

When we move, it will be a lot better! Miles of woods, in every direction...except the south, that is Keystone lake. :)

sounds like a wildman's dream come true!

Nice place now; great place to be, if things go wonky!

Red neck retreat...? :)

exactly! the ultimate rednecks retreat! lol

I never retreat, ROFLOL! :)

I did not know, when I took that course, that whatever you had on your person, when you came to the first class, was what you take to the final campout. I had built a survival kit, and I took it with me, to ask his opinion on what was in it. So, I got to try it out.

He was TOUGH! :)

hey smithlabs weren't you just at 38 and now you're at 40! how are you doing that it's great, tell me and I'll do the same thing!
okay on the survival class, did everyone get to bring something or you just lucked out with your kit?

No idea on the 40. Still trying to figure it out.

My friend and I took the course together, and he had his kit too. We had worked them out to share the load, so we were set up!

you guys were smart young'uns, or just lucky.
hey since you're so smart let me know about how to best
increase on here when you get it figured out.
I'm assuming that with your analytical prowess this is
not beyond your abilities. plus I know you like a good
challenge!
are you using Steemnow.com?

Steemit is off a little. Replied to this, but it never made it.... :(

I have seen that following more whales (to figure what they do that works) seems to help.

I don't follow the vote up groups. Too much like a ponzi scheme to suit me. Besides, I have seen horror stories of opening personal sites to third parties.... :(

I don't follow any vote up groups either, at least at this point.

Safer for sure. One post recommends that everyone make two accounts. One for use and posting, and the second as a cold account to store steem in.
