Florida is purpler than you think. It is just that the state Dem party has really given up in Florida and the Republicans are eating their lunch. People tend to overcorrect too much from Midterms when the GOP historically (2018 excepted) wins the turnout battle. The Florida Dems are still in shambles, so I don't know if 2024 will be a return to form, but I think national Dems shouldn't give up on Florida so easily. There are far too many electoral votes at stake to do so until it is clear the state is lost.
