Today, I am going to write about a plant named Heliotropium arboreum. I explored this tree beside a sea beach in the Maldives. Its bright green colour wowed me and made me capture the photo of this beautiful plant in my phone.
This is a flowering plant. The greenish white flowers of this plant makes it difficult to distinguish it from the leaves while seeing from distance. But from the near view anyone will be able to detect the flowers and be amazed by its beauty.
Other names of this plant: Velvetleaf soldierbush, tree heliotrope, veloutier, and octopus bush.
Type of the plant: shrub or small tree.
This plant can be used as famine food(from leaves), medicine( from leaves), handicrafts or tools(from wood).
