This spring has been surprisingly cold and rainy, although we've been gifted a few glorious days here and there. Driving home last night, I noticed the lupines in full bloom in the ditches. They are such an elegant, romantic wildflower!
I took these pictures a couple years ago but they're from nearby ditches. No one wants to jump in a ditch after a long rainy day like yesterday! Haha
Just did some reading up on them. I had no idea they were so widespread and varied!
