in flowers •  6 years ago

Hello friends!
Wish you all a very good morning.
Today I arrived with a beautiful flower whose scientific name is Polianthes tuberosa and here in India it is called Rajnigandha.

The name rajanigandha comes from two Sanskrit words Rajni (means night) and gandha (means smell) as it blooms at night with its fragrance. image

I don't have any word or knowledge to define its smell but I must say it is beautiful and it fascinate us. One can sense its smell from the distances. The good quality of its smell glorified the beauty of the flower. image

In India rajnigandha are sold mostly in front of Hindu temple. Flowers are offered god in the form of garland as well.
Hopefully you will like my post on flower.
Here I again want to express my gratitude for your support in my earlier post.
Thank you for your reading and watching.

इसकी खुशबु रात को बड़ी ही अच्छी आती है. दूर से पता चल जाता है कि पास में कही ये फूल है.
आपके फोटो शानदार है. धन्यवाद.

Thank you @veganomics for your nice comment in Hindi
