About twelve years ago, back in the year 2005 in New York during my second year of WOLBI college, how many MySpace friends did I have besides Tom? Around 800.

It took months to get that. That number was big. In 2006, just a year later, people at my ABC college in Bradley, West Virginia were on what looked like a boring version of MySpace. After weeks of seeing my classmates join, I finally joined Facebook. For some reason, Mark didn't appear on my friend's list like Tom did on MySpace.

I was on MySpace from 2004 or so until maybe 2010. I joined Facebook in 2006 but was still on MySpace a lot until maybe 2009 or so. Slowly, gradually, all my MySpace friends were being replaced with fake people, musicians, and it was almost like draining a swamp and there was like nobody to talk to on MySpace. Now in 2017, I have over 20K FB followers. Was on Yahoo Chat since 1998 apx & Xanga since 2004. Was born 1985 in Oregon. Live in Vietnam in 2017 since 2012. Facebook started becoming even more popular in Vietnam around 2012.

My time declined yearly on MySpace. But MySpace was more customizable than Facebook and was therefore was preferred over Facebook.

But all my friends were on Facebook. So, I went where the people were AND STILL ARE. About two billion people go to Facebook or maybe more than that.

In the next few years, Steemit will grow like Facebook did a decade ago.

Steemit can become TEN TIMES COOLER THAN Facebook as Steemit continues to grow and Steemit can become more customizable like MySpace was or more so too.

Steemit also pays people money too which goes way beyond what other social networks have ever done BEFORE.
