In an attempt to figure out different ways to preserve my huge potato harvest, I've decided to try the vacuum sealer.
For this technique I washed the potatoes
Dried the potatoes , leaving them to dry for several hours.
Made the bag and packed the potatoes
Then sealed them.
I also tried slicing them and sealing like that.
This is my first time trying vacuum sealing potatoes so I will see how they do and report back later.

With us in Austria the potato stored in the cellar (covered with sand) is completely dark.

Cool. I wonder which will work. And whether the cut ones will change color even after vacuum sealed.
