Don't hesitate to eat here when in Guiyang! It's a must-visit when in Guiyang! They offer a variety of specialty dishes from Guizhou, all freshly prepared and cooked, making for delicious and aromatic meals! There's not a single pre-made dish – it's a conscientious restaurant! You can see the chefs busy at work as soon as you enter. I've eaten here many times, for family gatherings and corporate events, and every time it's been authentic Guizhou cuisine, with options ranging from spicy to mild, suitable for everyone in the family. Every visit has resulted in empty plates all around! They've introduced some popular summer dishes that locals love, perfect for whetting your appetite! The spicy chili pickled eggs are a favorite side dish for rice! It's made with grilled green peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, and pickled eggs, slightly spicy and very refreshing, perfect with rice! The staff even emphasized that the pickled eggs used are lead-free and cost around 8 yuan each. The bean curd with vegetables is another summer favorite among locals, freshly made every day, with a rich soybean flavor and tender texture, light and refreshing to eat, especially when dipped in chili sauce! And the sour soup with rice tofu is a must-try, the rice tofu must be eaten with the sour soup, it's appetizing and refreshing, great for relieving greasiness! We also had a few other dishes for our group of six: the spicy chili chicken with tofu skin for 98 yuan, a must-try signature dish, with tender tofu skin and flavorful chicken, very delicious and goes well with rice; the Miao-style pot rice for 32 yuan, a staple that we order every time, with diced potatoes that I particularly enjoy; the smoked duck with three spikes for 45 yuan, not overly smoky, and the duck meat is not dry; the hotpot bread for 15 yuan, which I love, I even had two, while my friend had three, you can also dip it in the sauce from the spicy chili chicken with tofu skin; the mushroom meatballs for 45 yuan, great for kids and the elderly with a lighter taste, flavorful mushrooms, and solid meatballs; the signature shrimp with vermicelli for 68 yuan, with large shrimp and delicious vermicelli; the Kung Pao tendon for 58 yuan, with large pieces of tendon and fragrant chili peppers; and the black pepper mushrooms for 46 yuan, a must-order every time, with a rich black pepper flavor. I must say, you won't go wrong dining here. The prices are also very reasonable.
