Fish Wrap from Papua

Have you ever heard of food that is named pepes very famous in the land of Java? In Papua, you will also find a kind of pepes food which is named by the Papuan people as packaged fish. Differences fish wrap with pepes is the wrapping material. If pepes wrapped with banana leaves, typical Papuan wrap fish using taro leaves.

The fish selected for wrapping also vary, all depending on the taste of the maker. Spices used in the form of spices are commonly found with additional salt to give a salty taste as well as eliminating the sap contained in taro leaves. How to make fish wrap itself is actually very easy. The fish just needs to be cleaned and then seasoned and wrapped in taro leaves. Once wrapped, the fish can be directly burned with a small fire until cooked which can then be eaten directly.
