Quick tasty German dinner

in food •  8 years ago  (edited)

Hello food fan friends on Steemit :) I write about my one of my favorite dinner styles I learned in Germany.

In Germany it's cold "Vesper" or "Kaltesessen", which means cold meal. It's good especially for a week night after work without energy to cook. Or I like to have Vesper for a hot summer evening of course with beer or cold white wine.

How to prepare Vesper:

  1. Buy good bread, salami, ham, cheese, veggies ... whatever you like.
  2. Put them on dinner table.

That's it! Everyone can take what ever he/she likes.

It was eye opening for me from Japan where we spend a lot of time and effort to cook dinner.
