Good to read and see that in Romania has changed much to the positive.
I remember that not so long ago there was not enough food, homeless children living in the street.

A friend of mine drove every year to a small place (the name I forgot) on the Black Sea. He always collect money and goods so that his van was each time full of children's clothing, shoes, food, etc.

Thinks changed in Romania, but slightly different from what you would call in Germany a normal change.

The 49 RON (10+ EUR) price of a sandwich would be a normal one in the big cities (like Bucharest, Cluj, or Timisoara), but in the same time, the cost of food for a week for the family in a small place in the north, south or east of Romania.

The same with salaries: 2000+ EUR net salary for a senior software engineer in Bucharest, but the majority of people are working on the minimum wage, which is ~230 EUR.

So i guess at the country side, farmers, etc. still very poor people.

Since longer time I didn't see/read bad news about the situation in Romania. So I thought, especially after I saw the food festival, the country is back to 'average' normal.

What do you think is to do to change the situation?

What are reasons for the situation?

Nice

wow, nice festival @alexablue. have a nice day and happy weekend :)
