As the lid was lifted a tempting aroma escaped and filled the room. The aroma and the sight was enough to draw a large number of people to eat these hot delicacies.
They were available in two variants friend and baked .

They were tempting to say the least

The sight and smell was over powering I tried to look away and avoid eye contact but the aroma was enough to distract me.
It was a battle between my desire and these hot temptress patties which I was struggling to keep pace with.
I could feel the overpowering aroma working not only on my mind but my salivary glands as well. I took a sip of water to distract my self but my taste buds were being tempted and producing a lot of juices in anticipation of a rendezvous with these hot sultry tempting patties.

It was a matter of time

I was not the only one in the room and people were making a beeline towards the bowl and one after another the hot patties were disappearing.
In some corner of the mind a thought emerged that soon the bowl would get empty and I would go home without getting to meet these hot delightful patties.

I am losing control

Slowly but Surely my power of self constraint was waning and I was giving in. I do not remember when my feet betrayed me and I found myself walking towards the mouth watering delight.

I got hold of a plate and filled it up with the crispy delight. Now there was nothing holding me back.
I took a bite and found a overpowering savory taste overpowering me as a mix of potatoes, peas and cottage cheese rolled out of the outer jacket and started dancing and celebrating their freedom in a new territory my mouth.
I had given in to the aroma and taste but won the battle of hunger as I devoured one hot patty after another.
