I made this ginataang halo-halo recipe during my free time in our home.
Here are the ingredients I prepared to make this Ginataang halo-halo.
- Glutinous rice balls (bilo-bilo) to prepare: place a flour in a bowl add a small amount of water and form into a little circle.
- Cooked tapioca pearls (sago).
- 2 medium-size ripe banana (saba) slice into a small cube.
- 2 pcs. medium size sweet potatoes (kamote).
- 2 pcs. medium size cassava.
- 2 pcs. purple yam (ube) slices into a small cube.
- 2 spoon vanilla for flavoring.
- 2 medium-size taro roots (gabi).
- 5 cups coconut milk.
- 1 cup white sugar.
- 2 cups water.
Orange tapioca pearls (sago), slice saba banana, vanilla, coconut milk, sweet potatoes, and glutinous rice balls (bilo-bilo).
Slice cassava, taro roots (gabi) and slice purple yam (ubi).
How to make the halo-halo recipe.
- Prepare the large pot.
- Add 2 cups of water.
- Add the coconut milk and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add taro roots, sweet potatoes, cassava and purple yam stir and boiled for 5 t0 7 minutes.
- Add the sliced banana, glutinous rice balls, sugar and the remaining 2 cups of coconut milk, wait until the rice ball float at the top simmer for 7 minutes.
- Add the sago tapioca pearls cover simmer for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Palatable and ready to serve ginataang halo-halo " binignit".
Nutrition facts: Ginataang halo -halo is rich in carbohydrates since most of the ingredients belong to go foods which are the source of carbohydrates, that gives heat and energy to our body. It contains protein and minerals like calcium, iron and and potassium.Rich in vitamin A and C.
