HOMEMADE PANCAKE IN 5 EASY STEPS ( 88 PESOS BUDGET)

Make your own pancake in the easiest and cheapest ways.

We Filipinos surely love food. However, our love for food is delimited to our budget. Students like me will understand the struggle is real when it comes to saving money. This inspired me to come up with a food idea that is affordable and easy to make for students like me. The first thing that I thought of is pancake. People who are young at heart will agree with me that pancake is a delicacy that we will forever crave because it reminds us of the snacks sold at the canteen in our elementary year and sometimes even in college.

Here's how you can make your own pancake in 5 simple steps.

STEP 1: PREPARE THE INGREDIENTS

You will need:

  • 1 kilo of Flour (Php 26.00)
  • 2 eggs (Php 10.00 )
  • 1 can of Evaporated Milk (Php 30.00)
  • 1/4 kilo of white sugar (Php 12.00)
  • 2 teaspoon of baking powder (Php 2.00)
  • 100 grams of margarine (Php 8.00)
  • 2 cups of water

STEP 2 SIFT THE INGREDIENTS:

Make sure to sift 1 kilo of flour, 1/4 kilo of white sugar and 2 teaspoon of baking powder using a strainer and place them in a container.

STEP 3:MIX BOTH DRY AND WET INGREDIENTS

Pour 1 can of evaporated milk in the container then simultaneously add 2 eggs and 100 grams of baking powder and start mixing. Remember to stir them until it is smooth and no lumps of flour is seen. Gradually pour 2 cups of water to make your pancake smoother. The mixing process maybe tiring but a mixer can make the cooking process faster and efficient :)

STEP 4: HEATING AND FRYING

Set the stove to medium heat and place a small amount of oil on the frying pan. Once the pan is heated, gradually pour a scoop of the mixed ingredients on the pan. When the edges are brown and small bubbles form on top of the pancake, quickly lift the pancake and flip it over. Do the same for the other side.

STEP 5: ENJOY YOUR WELL DESERVED PANCAKES

I highly recommend adding honey syrup or chocolate syrup and butter as toppings. This pancake will serve as much as 10 so there is no reason for you not to try making your own homemade pancake now.

Remember to share me how it turned out, okay? :)

THAT'S ALL!!! :)
