Looking for more delicious and healthy snack options. Today I bring you the following proposal: Homemade sweet breads stuffed with nutritious and delicious strawberry jam sweetened with stevia!
* Preparation of Strawberry jam:
It's very easy, I personally like them with texture, so I do not use a blender, once clean trituro with a fork, it is important that they are well ripe, not added water, just stevia, I put 10 envelopes for about 500 grs of strawberries, placed the fire in a pot , the strawberry itself is bouncing its liquid, once cooked retreat, should be thick, because with it fill the bread.
* for dough:
I place 500 grs of sifted wheat flour in a container, 25 grs of stevia, 2 whole eggs, 1/4 cup of oil, one tablespoon of salt, 15 grams of yeast activated in 250 ml of almond milk (can be water or any type of vegetable milk : rice, oats) with 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla essence. We proceed to homogenize by hand kneading, in my case.
Then I clean the surface of the inn very well, I put flour and take the dough to knead it more easily here.
The manual kneading technique is important, basically it is about stretching the dough, collecting and re-stretching. After the dough is well elastic, allow to stand for 2 hours. Then form balls, the size you prefer the bread, make a hole with your finger, place jam and close. Finally, with a kitchen brush I place on the surface of each egg white ball.
- Put in the oven for half an hour, at 250 °f. And ready, look how good it looks!
- Get and let cool, to enjoy this delicious snack.

Stevia does not give us calories and if it were not enough, does not increase blood sugar levels, its consumption also recommended for diabetics and children, is not addictive and does not produce side effects, or until now have not been reported.
