Summary
Eating fried or heavy food makes me sleepy and lazy after midday. I decided to reinvent my lunch scheme and came up with this a month ago. The result has been good and I feel more active and healthy with this. This motivated me to share it with you via a blog. Feel free to let me know if you like the idea. Here is an overview of the ingredients.

Cost = $ 4 / meal
Time = 10 Minutes
Ingredients (numbered as per above picture):-
- Table Salt
- Pickled Red Onions - Keep sliced red onion in white vinegar (+ bit of salt) overnight to prepare it. Else you may buy it in market
- Chinees Sweet Chilli Sauce ( 1 table spoon )
- Chat Masala - Indian Spice powder
- Sliced cucumber
- Beans Sprouts - Soak beans in water for one night and wrap it in dry cloth for the next day. Sprouts will grow beautifully. Else you may buy it in market
- Sliced Tomato
- Sliced fresh onion
- Black Chickpea Sprouts - Soak black chickpeas in water for one night and wrap it in dry cloth for the next day. Sprouts will grow beautifully. Else you may buy it in market
- Soaked maize / Corns
- Sliced Sausage (Only for Non Vegetarians :P) *
Squeeze a freshly cut lemon if you like to make it a bit sour
Mix all these together in small proportion to get the amazing and appetizing Indian Salad .
Conclusions
It is
a - eye catchy because of all the colors
b- healthy because it has almost no fat and sprouts are yo yo !
c- quick to prepare if you have all the ingredients in hands (and can be made anytime)
d- edible anytime of the day
e - super cheap if you buy ingredients in bulk
f- finally very very yummy..... god.. I am gonna eat it now !
