Good morning, my friends! As I love the morning on a day off, it's really the most pleasant morning when you can sleep and do not need to go anywhere.

On such days I cook delicious pastries for breakfast. Breakfast is my favorite day of the day, I like to try to cook new baking recipes for breakfast and today I chose a recipe for delicious wands in sugar called churros.
Churros is a traditional Spanish pastry, which is so famous for Spain. Churros can be baked in the oven or fried in vegetable oil.

I love to learn new baking recipes and this recipe I really liked for quick cooking and simple ingredients.

In Spain churros sell in street bistros, restaurants and shops, so I wanted to try to cook this delicious dessert and taste the taste of Spain :).

The secret of the sweetness of churros taste is that after roasting churros in oil, it should be sprinkled with sugar.

Ingredients:

Flour - 350 g

Sugar - 50 g

Salt - pinch

Water 450 g

Olive oil - 60 g

Sugar - for sprinkling

Preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and olive oil. Put the pan on the stove and bring to a boil.

  2. Mix flour, sugar and salt in the mixer bowl.

  3. Prepare a confectionery bag.

  4. Add the mixture with the olive oil in the flour mixture. Mix well with a mixer until smooth.

  5. Put the dough into the pastry bag and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and make churros with a confectionery bag.

  7. Bake churros on each side until golden brown.

  8. Sprinkle churros with sugar and serve with tea.

this looks delicious! Quick question, would it be possible to fry the churro's in any other oil as I prefer to avoid vegetable oil?
