Aji-no-moto no longer sells thd Aji-Shio flavoured salt mixture in Malaysia. You can find the Aji-Shio White Pepper mixture in supermarkets but I have never found the Aji-Shio Black Pepper mixture. See:

FLAVOURED SALT MIXTURES
I read an article by a food scientist some time ago about how to use MSG. You should mix it with regular salt (sodium chloride) in a 1:9 ratio and then use the resulting flavoured salt mixture. Adding MSG directly when cooking food often leads to you using way too much of it.

I can’t be bothered to weigh or measure things so I used these ingredients:

8.6% Flavoured Salt
1 small packet (33 g) of Ajinomoto (MSG)
1 packet (350 g) of fine sea salt

12.8% Flavoured Salt
Alternatively, you can also try using:
2 small packets (33 g x 2 = 66 g) of Ajinomoto (MSG)
1 packet (450 g) of fine sea salt

9.9% Flavoured Salt
Ideally, I should have used:
3 small packets (33 g x 3 = 99 g) of Ajinomoto (MSG)
2 packets (450 g x 2 = 900 g) of fine sea salt
but 1 kg of resulting flavoured salt would have been way too much for me.

Using a 1:9 ratio would result in a 10% Flavoured Salt Mixture.

Anyway, blend the mixture before storing in a jar. Use as you would regular salt.
