1.Limit the use of oil
Butter, lard, palm oil and coconut oil should be avoided. Instead, use olive oil and canola.
2.Limit fatty meats
Corned beef, ribs, steak, sausage, and processed meat should be reduced. Replace with skinless chicken or turkey, lean beef, lamb and fish. Meat consumption is not more than 140 g daily. Try some meatless main dishes, such as peas, pasta, or rice.
3.Limit milk
Dairy products contain more than 1 percent fat. If you want to eat milk try low-fat milk.
4.Limit fast food
Reduce fast food such as hamburgers, fries and fried chicken because these foods contain a lot of saturated fat. Choosing a sandwich, salad with a low-fat sauce and non-fried foods is a good choice.
In addition to avoiding the above foods, lowering high cholesterol can be done with the help of drugs that have been recommended by doctors.
