Ingredients for the powerpacket

  • 2 Handful of field salad
  • 3 cabbage leaves
  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 orange
  • 3 large dates
  • 3 marigold flowers

Mix all ingredients in a high capacity blender / chopper together with 200 ml of water. Additionally, we’ve put 6 ice cubes, but poured only 150 ml of water. The reason for this is that kohlrabi leaves are somewhat big and very strong and take longer to blend / mix and I don’t want the smoothie to get warm.

With this smoothie you take your necessary dose of Vitamin K and 80% of the recommended daily dose of Vitamin A. But the lamb’s lettuce also contains Magnesium, Calcium, Potassium and Vitamin B among many other important vitamins, minerals and residuals.

Kohlrabi is rich on plant proteins, fibers and minerals like for example Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium, but also Selenium and Iron. It contains vitamins like Vitamin C, A, B1 and B2. And in the leaves there is great quantity of those than in the tuber.

Marigolds were once used for healing of wounds. They also work magic with digestion problems. Not only are they antiseptic, but they also have an anti-inflammatory, cramp relieving, anti-fungal and cleaning effect.
