Mieng Kana literally translates to "1 Bite" as this delightful and traditional treat is meant to be eaten in a single bite.

Although the dish may vary slightly depending on where you eat it, the idea is the same. Take a bunch of fresh and finely diced ingredients and wrap them in a Kale leaf.

This particular version was bought from a great little restaurant called "Baan PadThai" and you can see the ingredients as follows:

  • Fresh Kale Leaves
  • Diced Onion
  • Lime
  • Garlic
  • Chilli
  • Peanuts
  • Pork Skin
  • Chicken Pieces
  • Tamarind Sauce

You may not often see this dish on a menu, so if you do, I highly recommend you give it a try, the fresh flavours are sumptuous!
