Real Italian Thin-Crust Pizza @ Di Farina in Bangkok.

in food •  7 years ago

Di Farina means "from flour" which inspired young Thai chef Daeng, for the name of his restaurant in downtown Bangkok. Daeng fell in love with pizza and travelled from Thailand to Florence, Italy for an intensive course in making the best pizza, in the real Italian method.

Daeng hand-built his wood-fired pizza to the exact specifications he wanted and imports all of his flour and tomatoes from Italy to ensure the highest quality. He makes his pizza dough daily, and takes the utmost pride in every creation that comes out of his oven.

Upon his recommendation, we ordered his Chef's Sginature "Bufalina" pizza. This is a simple red pizza with heavy doses of fresh Mozzarella and Cherry tomatoes.

The pizza was delicious, and without a doubt the best I have had in Bangkok. The crust was crisp and the tomatoes and cheese so full of flavour. It really was a cut above the other pizzas being served in Bangkok.

My wife and I were both very happy, and will be heading back again soon for more !
