Ingredients
5 tablespoons cornstarch 1/ 2 liter milk 2 egg yolks 1 teaspoon vanilla 100 grams sugar
Steps
First make the caramel: in a small casserole add the sugar with the water and simmer over low heat. Stir so that the sugar dissolves.
When you notice that the sugar has turned dark, remove the casserole and pour the candy into the mold you will use for the flan.
Now, make the flan: in a little milk dissolve the cornstarch. The rest of the milk make it boil in a pot.
Once the milk is ready, remove it from the heat and let it warm up for a few minutes.
Then, with a fork beat the yolks and incorporate them in the milk mixture with cornstarch.
With the help of a blender spoon, stir the mixture a minute. Then, add the warm milk and stir everything until a compact mass is formed.
Put the new preparation on the fire, and with a ladle do not stop stirring. Wait 5 minutes and turn off the fire.
