Yesterday I was enthusiastic about making cookies, I had all the ingredients I needed (I thought so), when I set to work I realized that the container of margarine was almost empty, but that did not discourage me and I decided to continue with my recipe.
I had the knowledge that vegetable oil can replace margarine, but I had never tried, this would be the first time and an experiment because I feared that the dough of the biscuits would be a little liquid for the oil but it was not so, the result was a soft and manageable mass.
The texture of these cookies is spongy, if you want more crunchy just make them thinner and brown them with a few minutes more oven. If you want to know the result of these delicious biscuits, stay and watch the whole process in this photographic recount of the recipe.
Ingredients: 2 cups of flour. 1/4 cup of milk. 1/4 cup of oil. 1 cup of sugar. 1 egg. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence Previous steps:
The first step is to place a brazen egg into a large bowl along with the sugar and oil.
Rations Difficulty Time Type of food 24 cookies Easy 30 minutes Snack
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Prepare a cookie sheet with a little oil past with a napkin and flour sprinkled.
Beat with a hand mixer or electric mixer until a frothy mixture is formed.
Now add the milk and continue mixing.
At this moment incorporate the flour little by little and we mix with a wooden palette.
We have as a result a homogeneous dough quite soft, so that we can manipulate it with our hands we refrigerate it for one hour (a few minutes in the freezer also work).
With clean hands we take a little dough, make balls and then flatten them, to avoid getting stuck in our fingers we will keep flour in our hands. Place the cookies on the prepared tray and bake for 8 to 12 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
We will know that our biscuits are ready when they are browned by the edges, with this amount of ingredients yields to bake three trays.
Tips:
The secret to keeping cookies fresh for a long time is to store them in glass jars with lids.
We can freeze the cookie dough and bake them when we want to eat them, this idea is great for planning children's snacks and not eating all the cookies in one day.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe.
