The favorite dish for most people during a day at the beach are the fried plantain, for being an economic and delicious aperitif, you have surely enjoyed them by the sea, but if you have not had the opportunity, I will tell you about its composition:fried green plantain covered with striped salad, white cheese and seasoned with sauces. The fried plantain, are also the perfect contour for a fresh fish.

Today I wanted to recreate this dish at home, the result was wonderful and I felt like on the beach when eating them. If you want to know the details of the preparation stay, this post is for you.

Fried plantain with salad recipe.

Ingredients, free amounts::

  1. Green Plantain.

  2. Cabbage.

  3. Carrot.

  4. Vinegar.

  5. Oil.

  6. Salt.

  7. Sauces.

Preparation of the salad:

Wash and peel the vegetables. Scratch the carrot and cabbage separately.

To prepare the striped salad mix carrots and cabbage in the same, season with vinegar, oil and salt.

Optionally you can also season the salad with mayonnaise and refrigerate.

Preparation of fried plantain:
Cut each banana in half.

Fry partially, remove the bananas from the oil when they are still white.

Crush the plantains with a kitchen mallet until they are thin (this is the secret of their crisping).

Fry the plantain for the second time until they look golden and place them on absorbent paper.

Now the fun part arrived! Cover the fried plantain with salad, striped white cheese and our favorite sauces.

Enjoy, bon appetit.
