My lovely wife made yesterday amazing food for both of us ☺

Here is the recipe :

Ingredients:

  • dry chickpeas - 400g
  • 2 beets
  • 2 onions
  • oil - 3-4 tablespoons
  • white flour (for sticking it together) - 6-7 tablespoons
Spices: Cumin, turmeric, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper.

For tahini sauce:

  • tahini paste - 6 tablespoons
  • lemon juice - 3 tablespoons
  • dried garlic, salt
  • water.

As always, you have to pre-soak chickpeas for at least 4 hours, preferably for night. No need to boil it!
After soaking - rinse the beans, grind them in the food processor, do the same with onions and beats. Add the spices, mix.
Add the oil - mix nicely, add the flour - keep adding till the not-falling-apart consistency.
Shape the balls, you can roll them in the sesame seeds, or not. Put them on a baking surface (with oil or not - depending on the surface). Bake for about 30 min at about 180 degrees Celcius.
For the sauce - mix all the ingredients together with the spoon - and it's ready!
These falafel balls are best inside pita bread with tahini sauce (or any other sauce) and some fresh vegetables (or pickles).
