Extra juicy baked crispy wings marinated with milk, orange and honey

Would you like to taste some baked crispy wings very healthy, delicious, juicy and extra soft?

Today we are going to prepare the best recipe for homemade crispy wings in a very easy way. Firstly, we will marinade the wings with orange, milk and honey, so they will be delicious and extra soft. Later, we will bake them in the oven, so that they will be much healthier than fried.

So, let’s start cooking!

Ingredients (four people)

  • 20/30 wings.
  • A glass of milk.
  • A large spoonful of honey.
  • 3 oranges.
  • Cornflakes.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • Olive oil, parsley, cumin, black pepper, sweet or spicy paprika and salt.
  • For the sauce: avocado, cream cheese, ketchup and spicy paprika.

Cooking time

Around 3 hours (including 1 hour and 20 minutes of wings baking).

Recipe preparation

In this récipe we’ll marinade the wings twice, during two consecutive days. In the first day, for the first marinade:

  • Place the wings in a glass base with a lid.
  • Pour the glass with milk until the wings are covered.
  • Puncture the wings with a fork.
  • Reserve in the fridge for one night.

The next day, before starting with the second marinade, remove excess milk with paper towels.

For the second marinade, follow the next steps:

  • Squeeze the juice of an orange.
  • Fry garlic cloves in olive oil.
  • Then, using a crusher, mix and crush the following ingredients: the orange juice, the fried garlic cloves, parsley, sweet or spicy paprika and cumin.
  • When the mixture is ready, add a spoon of honey into the mixture.
  • With the help of a bowl, pour the mixture completely into the wings.

It is very important that the wings are completely impregnated with the mixture. To do so, prick each wing with a fork, until the mixture penetrates. So the wings will be extra juicy.

Insert the wings in a bowl with a lid, and put them in the refrigerator for one night.

The next day, remove the wings from the container without dripping. They will have an orange color and they will be very juicy. The wings are ready to bake.

To give a crunchy touch we will use corn flakes. Crush the corn flakes with a little sweet paprika.

Then, add salt and black pepper to the wings.

Dip each wing in the corn flakes pressing very well.

Place the wings in a baking dish covered with silver foil.

Cover completely the baking dish with silver foil.

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes and then insert the wings in the oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes. The last 5 minutes remove the silver paper so that the wings are crispier.

To finish our recipe, we will prepare a sauce to accompany the wings.

To do this, add avocado, cream cheese, ketchup and spicy paprika in the crusher (in case you like spicy), and crush everything.

And ready. Crispy baked chicken wings. Juicy, very soft, delicious and healthy. Enjoy it! Bon appétit!.
