Cooking has been a passion of mine and there so much to experiment and to learn, like my other hobby which is painting on canvas, you really need a clear vision of what you want your outcome to be, with food you must really imagine it to be delicious, and you must be in the right mood when cooking, like when your in a fiesta, most of the prepared food is already blessed while being prepared and made, and everyone is excited, and That feeling of positivity always makes things so special

I have here a simple recipe that is healthy and would even make your kids enjoy and try it out. So let me share with you this recipe:

Step by step direction:

  1. Skin the chicken, boil it till cooked, and save the broth for the sauce
  2. For the white sauce, have 2 cups of chicken broth, boil it and add milk and flour, ( the thicker the sauce the better, but it really depends on your preference
  3. Lightly cook the asparagus by boiling it, then drain with cold water
  4. Add 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 tbsp lemon juice to the white sauce, and a little salt and pepper for taste
  5. Now layer it using a casserole or any cointainer that you could cook with the oven.
  6. Layer the chiken first at the bottom, then cover with white sauce, then layer the asparagus, then white sauce, then mushrooms, and top the remaining white sauce, then sprinkle your grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, then place the casserole for 1 hr or until it bubbles up,
  8. Serve with garlic bread and green salad and enjoy 😉
