Caviar has long been known as one of the rare foods in the world, which is priced at exorbitant prices. This caviar is even sold up to USD 300,000 per kg or USD 40,000 (Rp 514 million) per teaspoon.

This super expensive caviar is called White Gold. It is made from a rare albino sturgeon fish egg mixed with 22 carat gold. No wonder, if this caviar is then regarded as the most expensive food on planet earth.

This food is also called Strottarga Bianco. This caviar was created by Austrian fish farmer Walter Gruell, 51, and his son Patrick, 25. According to Patrick, Strottarga Bianco comes from a very rare albino sturgeon fish.

To make a kilogram of White Gold, they use five kilograms of caviar, which then goes through the drying process. In this process, they will use an older sturgeon, because the eggs of the older fish are smoother, aromatic, and taste better.

Patrick also explained that the caviar they produce in Austria is one of the best in the world because it is cultivated with mountain water that continues to flow and free of pollution.

Patrick admits that his White Gold caviar is not meant for everyone because the price offered is not cheap. But he believes that there is a market for exclusive food like White Gold - especially when new products are introduced to the market. And to attract the attention of buyers, Patrick and his father will give a discount of USD 112,000 (Rp 1.4 billion) for selected buyers. Interested?
