The original Maraş ice cream is made with goat milk. Maras is an easily frozen and gum-like glazed ice cream due to its frost structure. Maras Ice Cream is a very healthy ice cream, with plenty of valuable ingredients such as iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, sodium, zinc and phosphorus. Kahramanmaraş Ice Cream, which is indispensable in summer months, actually strengthens the body resistance and strengthens the bones because of the substances in the consumable in winter. 2 cup goat milk (may be normal milk)
1 tea spoon vanilla
1 cup milk cream
1 little sugar powder from sugarcane
1 soup spoon sahlep (you can buy from the transporter)
Maras Ice Cream Preparation:
1-After mixing the ice cream in a saucepan nicely, we beat it with a whisk or a mixer.
2-We cook the pot by putting it on the oven and stirring it continuously until it boils over low heat.
3-After a while, when we get a dense and fluid mixture, we wait for a while to cool down.
4-After the ice cream has cooled down, we take it into an iron or steel container and throw it in the ice of the refrigerator.
5-We take out the ice cream in half an hour and mix it in ice.
6-After repeating the mixing process 5 or 6 times, the ice cream will slowly start to freeze.
7-Continuous mixing of ice cream keeps ice freezing and softness.
8-After we have prepared enough mastic for freezing, we stop stirring and stop for 3 - 4 hours in the freezer.
