Recipe of Peruvian ceviche

Ceviche is a typical dish of Latin American cuisine in general, with each country having its own style of preparation. In this recipe from RecetasGratis.net we want to show you the traditional preparation of Peru, so take note and learn how to prepare a delicious Peruvian ceviche.

INGREDIENTES

1 pinch of Pepper
1 kilogram of fish of your choice
1 branch of chopped celery
¼ cup chopped leaf cilantro cup
1 handful of crushed garlic
1 unit of chopped mirasol chili
1 unit of chopped limo chilli
2 tablespoons of ginger juice
12 units of Lemons
1 cup of fish stock
1 pinch of salt
1 unit of sweet potato
1 unit of tender corn parboiled
1 bunch of lettuce leaves
1 unit of onion cut in julienne

Steps to follow to make this recipe:

The first thing you must do to be able to make the Peruvian ceviche is to squeeze the 12 lemons to extract its juice, save it for later. Then, cut the fish into pieces of about 3 centimeters. Place the pieces in the container you are going to use to serve the dish.

Mix the fish with the chopped mirasol chilli, the ginger juice, the fish stock and the chopped celery. Let it sit for a few minutes so that it is well seared and impregnates all the flavors.

This done, place the onion cut in julienne strips and the crushed garlic on the pieces of marinated fish. Season to taste and place the boiled sweet potato, lettuce and tender corn also boiled on the side of the plate.

Then, pour the lemon juice all over the plate so that everything is well covered. Finally, cut a sheet of red chili pepper and place it as a decoration. Store it in the refrigerator to cool down, since this is a dish served cold.

5.

Peruvian ceviche is a dish that acts as an appetizer, so you can accompany it with a rice with shrimp or a delicious salmon with shrimp sauce.
