Neither Coffee nor Tea...Can you please guess what is this??

Yes my dear Friends.... This is neither Coffee nor Tea..

But it's aroma is so much tempting!! And again it is a refreshing health drink and is very good for health...

Actually I learned it from my mother in law, in the year 1983, when I got married and went to my husband's village. There they all preferred to have this, instead of Coffee or Tea!!

Here is the recipe to make One Cup of this health drink.. (We call it Jeera - Coffee)

1teaspoon jeera or cumin seeds.
1teaspoon coriander
2 cardamoms
Milk half cup
Sugar as desired.

Make a powder of cumin and coriander. Boil it in one cup of water along with 2 cardamoms, till it gets reduced to half cup. Sieve, and add half cup of milk. Add sugar according to your taste.

While boiling this for at least five minutes it spreads beautiful aroma throughout your home and you will find this very tempting to have it soon. This jeera coffee is very good for digestion, and reduces body aches etc., after hard work!

Hi my dear! It’s a healthy drink! I like it, i noticed that the Indians use so much coriander and cardamom and cumin in their food.

Hello @geetharao, looks good, I love coriander, smells so good when you toast the seeds and grind it yourself. By the way, I nominated you take part in the Seven day Black and White photo Challenge in my last post. :)

Hi @jerrodpearce I have already completed that Blackandwhitephotography Challenge last month... :)

Wow great, being an Indian, I even did not heard before about the drink, I am sure it is a great health benefits, because the jeera has been treating at great appetizer in my Area too. Thanks for sharing such a valuable lesson about the drink.

This is an intriguing mix. To me it seems unfathomable that so many spices mixed with milk would taste good - but I guess that is where the sugar comes in.

Now I am curious. Thank you for sharing @geetharao. :c)

Sugar is optional just as in coffee or tea... @pathforger..

Oh - wow...

Now that I can actually see the images (its an on-off thing on this network) - this drink looks delicious. :c)

Definitely going to try this (first without sugar). Thanks again!

Wow.. 👍That is caffeine less coffee...and pretty ezy to made.☺.....a must try drink.....must give a go coming weekend👌

@geetharao excellent recipe!

This type of preparations are a better option for morning drinks than coffe, as prevent us from depleting our body from vitamins and minerals, which is the mechanism why coffee give us "more" energy after we drinking.

God Bless Us All!
