The cherry tree is much ripe! We live in a bit of a colder climate but these cherries do fairly well! Sour until they are ready!
There are a few other various berries around too! Some saskatoons, some raspberries, some golden raspberries and some black raspberries !
I picked the berries 'cause I want a snack as I drive to town! I also harvested some nettles for a soup base! Boiled them up with some jarred horseraddish that is also homegrown.

The soup base is for a borscht ! I had to just cut the nettles into a bowl with scissors so the plant doesn't sting me. My friends and other young kids in the family used to whip each other with the stinging nettles! Now we eat them!
