Spunk up your creativity and inner power with food as thy medicine my friends!
This recipe was pretty much created by looking in my fridge, coordinating colors and then it became this beautiful, extra healing bowl you see today!
I won't go too much into this here (because it is absolutely worthy of its own post(s)/books entirely... but what I will say to you is this:
We are energetic humans and there is a belief that we have what is called "a chakra system" within each of us. (I talk about it all of the time!)
Now, believe that or not, it's been proven (using quantum physics for example), that our bodies do in fact react to frequencies. Just watch/read "The Secret Life of Water" if you want to learn more about that fascinating topic!
Anyways, our chakra system (the 7 point theory) looks like this:
According to color therapy and what we know about chakras, interacting with the colors associated with the area the chakra is in, promotes healing and balancing.
Therefore, eating foods of the chakra you're working on, help to restore balance within and outside of the body physically, emotionally and spiritually.
How cool is that, huh?
You can increase libido, get super charged ideas and even heal past trauma by paying more attention to the colors and sounds around you. The more you learn, the cooler it gets!
Balancing the lower 3 chakras:
Red: cherry tomatoes, paprika powder, bell pepper
Orange: pumpkin, kimchi
Yellow: cherry tomatoes
So, this "salad" (for lack of better word) is set up to bring balance to your stomach, your sacral (belly button area) and your root.
This will spark some inner power, help increase your sex drive and creativity levels and help you restore trust and commitment.
All that in one bowl-- just for you!
Get Your Mojo Flowin' Bowl:
What You Need:
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (mix of yellow and red)
- ยฝ red bell pepper (cut into strips)
- 1 cup pumpkin (or squash of your choice)
- ยฝ cup vegan kimchi
- ยผ cup vegan cheeze
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1/2 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
What To Do:
- Cube the pumpkin and gently steam it until tender with a fork
- Slice the bell pepper into shapes you want to eat! (I made mine long by cutting the pepper lengthwise)
- In a bowl, line up the cherry tomatoes against the side
- Place the pumpkin next, pushing the pieces against the tomatoes to create a wall
- Line up the next part with kimchi
- In the last space, fill with bell pepper slices
- Cover everything with vegan cheeze and drizzle with tahini
Now if you're really into this ("resonating") you can listen to any of the three lower chakras frequency music while eating this for an extra boost! Just search whatever chakra you want to target and you'll find out the frequency associated with healing for that particular region!
You'll be surprised how much it can do! Happy healing! :)
I wish you yummy in your tummy!
