How To Prepare Fried Plantain, Also Known as Dodo.

in food •  7 years ago

On my food blog today, I will be sharing on how to prepare plantain and fried egg.
This recipe is really delicious and it is something you must really try out.

Fried plantain in Yoruba land is commonly referred to as dodo.

Even for bachelors who do not really like to cook, this recipe is something very easy for them to prepare.

In order to prepare fried plantain, you need to un peel the plantain which means that you have you remove the plantain from it's cover which is the peel.

Wash the already peeled plantain and slice as desired into a neat bowl or plate.

Location

Sprinkle a little amount of salt on the sliced plantain and mix it together.

Place the fry pan on heat and pour your desired content of vegetable oil, when the oil is hot, add the sliced plantain and reduce the heat so as to avoid unnecessary burning of the plantain.

Ensure that the frying of the plantain is done on a low heat.

Fry until the plantain becomes golden brown.

You can consume fried plantain with fried egg or just consume it ordinarily with tea or water.
