Greetings Steemians!
Today I would like to tell you about the botanicals and spices that we use in HOME GIN KIT for the elaboration of GIN.
- Juniper: It's the base of any GIN, do not leave home without it. The juniper is found in mountainous areas, especially in the cold areas of Europe, Asia and North America. Juniper berries are ideal for flavoring meat dishes, especially with strong meats. They are a bit bitter, with citrus and sweet nuances.
Cardamom: Cardamom is a plant originary from to India, commonly used as a spice to add flavor and smell to foods and drinks, as it has its own flavor and intense smell. Provides citrus notes and other nuances, depending on the quantity of spice used.
Cilanter: Cilanter has its origin in the Middle East, although it is currently cultivated throughout the world, being very popular in Morocco, Mexico and South America. Its flavor is soft and sweet with a bitter and acid touch.
Star Anise: Originally from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia (South of China and North of Vietnam), it is grown in China, the Philippines and Jamaica. It provides an aniseed and slightly sweet touch.
Pink Pepper: They are the pink and soft berries of the tree "schinus terebinthifolius" that grows mainly in Latin America, in the Island of Rรฉunion, in Madagascar and in the Mediterranean. It has a spicy touch and slightly spicy, in addition to a very suggestive pin tonality.
Very interesting, do you use pink pepper for your GIN?
