Tips for fancy lunches

Watch out, come prepared

It happens. We text a girl and for once they have a suggestion where to have lunch. I know. Unbelievable. A girl making decisions about where to eat. Probably a keeper.

So, you end up going to this fancy restaurant. I love fancy restaurants. Am I a foodie? No idea. I just like to entertain my tongue. Which now sounds weird because I have a perverted mind.

Anyway, the menu looks fantastic. The location is great, all the tiny little details fit your picture of a perfect place to still your appetite. And your date looks smoking hot which adds to the atmosphere.

Your waiter hands out a ton of recommendations but you go for the one item on the menu he didn't talk about because who is he anyway.

The food comes, looking gorgeous. You wanna suck and nibble on it like a three month old on his mom's breasts. Get every last piece of juice out of the meat.

And then it hits you. There's way too much plate and not enough food.

What is this, you think. I'm paying to be well fed, what is this nonsense.

Rich people...

Eating fancy stuff that doesn't fill them up.

No wonder all the downtown business people are so slim. Always running around, constantly stressed and not putting enough food in their bodies. Dope life.

An explosion of tastes takes place in your mouth as you try to hold back and eat like a civilized human being so your date doesn't get up and run. If only there was more of that food.

Of course, the waiter comes out after both of you finish, with a neat, white paper you assume to be exactly what it is: another hit to your wallet. The desert cart.

He has the audacity to ask you whether or not there's still room for some desert.

Well, fuck yeah there is. Bring me the entire cake!

Unfortunately, there's also loads of room in your wallet because that restaurant is about to take all your money.

So, no desert for you. Not at this place. Maybe at hers.

Location No.2

With a rather emtpy stomach, which is funny after having just eaten for a bunch of money, you make your way to a stop number two where you can get desert. At reasonable rates.

Tip of the day

When going to fancy restaurants (and you're not rich yet but still wanna go for whatever reason) eat beforehand. That way your orders don't get out of hand. Or you could afterward. Work too.

Next skill to learn

While we should appreciate the rare moments in which a woman actually picks a place she wants to go to for food, an important skill to have is the ability to talk someone out of something they want. Into something they didn't know they wanted but because of you then crave.

Stay awesome and don't fail to build!
