Kuah pliek 'u is a kind of coconut curry which is quite popular in Aceh, especially on the east coast of Aceh. This curry served with rice and fried fish, this curry is not special served on certain occasions but we often encounter on a regular day among the Acehnese family.
RECIPES OF KUAH PLIEK U
VEGETABLES:
- Long beans ¼ kg
- 4 bunches of melinjo leaves
- Melinjo fruit 1 ounce
- Young jacket 2 plastic
- Green eggplant 10 pieces
- Kangkung 1 bunch
- Pliek U ¾ glass duralex small
- Kalapa shave 1 piece
- Shrimp ¼ kg - Kikil as you like
- Salt to taste
MATERIALS:
- Coriander dried milled 2 tbsp
- 6 red chili
- Cabe of cayenne 20 pieces
- Red onion 6 cloves
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Ginger 1 cm
- Tender turmeric 1 tsp
- Coriander cook 1 teaspoon
- Coconut gongseng (ulhee) 2 tbsp
- pepper round ½ tbsp - 3 pieces of sunti acid
MATERIALS:
- 9 pieces of green chilli
- Onion 3 cloves
- Sere 2 rods
- 10 pieces of orange leaves
WAYS OF MAKING
Fry without oil pliek u with low heat until fragrant smell, add 1 cup duralex long water to boiling. After boiling filtered (defecate). Blender pliek u until smooth.
Boil melinjo fruit and young jackfruit until tender (pee)
Boil kikil until tender (dispose of water)
Cut vegetables, milled spices until smooth and chopped spice seasoning.
Squeeze the coconut shavings until it becomes a thin coconut milk
Put in a pan of vegetables, ground spices, chopped spices, shrimp, salt, pliek u (except kale and lime leaves) stir until blended. Enter the water a little and then boil.
After smoky enter the thin coconut milk (stir-stir)
When almost cooked enter the water spinach and lime leaves
