Today i present you a delicious apple caramel cake, perfect with a cup of tea. Taste great like a paradise, you'll know what i'm talking about after you try it ;)
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Baking time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
3/4 Cups sugar
2 Tbsp butter
2 Large apples
For cake batter:
2 Cups flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
Pinch of Salt
2 Teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 Cups sugar
200g Butter (room temperature)
3 Eggs
1/2 Cup milk
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation:
- Prepare a cake mold measure 26cm diameter, butter it and preheat the oven at 180 °C .
- In a saucepan on medium heat, put 3/4 cup sugar and leave until caramelize, add 2 tablespoons of butter over the caramel with stirring until the butter melt,
- Pour the caramel In the cake mold and leave aside.
- Peel off the apples and core the seeds, cut the apples into slices 1 cm thick.
- Over the caramel place the apples slices, leave the cake mold aside to prepare the cake mixture.
- In a bowl, mix the butter with the sugar until it becomes a creamy mixture. Add the eggs with the vanilla gradually one at a time, until we get a creamy mixture, sifte the dry ingredients then add it in two phases with the milk. Half the amount of dry ingredients and half the amount of milk and stir until we have a smooth cake mixture then add the remaining half of the dry ingredients and milk then stir until the cake mixture is smooth and thick.
- Pour the cake mixture in the cake mold over the apples slices .
- Bake in a preheated oven 180°C for 35 - 40 mins .
- Leave the cake 15 mins to cool then flip it upside down .
