Today we went out for lunch at a pub called The Poet in Matfield. It describes itself as 'A classic pub with an affordable menu inspired by modern and traditional British cuisine. Run by Petrus Madutlela (Culinary Team) and Andy Urbanek (General manager).'
It looks really nice inside.
We got some drinks. I really liked the massive bulb like wine glasses.
The herbs in the apple juice made it look like a cocktail.

I had the burger and chips. I haven't had a burger for a long time so it's hard to make a comparison.

I had the chocolate pot. It was really nice.
