Hello friends!
Although I do follow a 80/20 type of diet approach - there's still room for some fun 'cheat' entries here and there.
This is one of my few personal faves that I have come up with in the past years.
Step 1
Grab you a small pint size icecream of any flavor & 2 soft baked cookies .
Any flavor of cookie is fine. I keep it traditional with Chocolate chip .
Also, it's ideal for the cookies to be the same size of the quart carton.
- Tip - It's recommend the cookies to be a bit soft as opposed to baked. Will make the texture far more presentable and easier to enjoy (less dripping/smearing from all edges) -
Step 2
Grab a knife with longer ridges/teeth. A straight plain blade one will make the slicing a bit more challenging to cut through.
Step.3
Try to keep the width of the icecream slice at half inch. Anything higher will require jaws of life to bite through :^D
- Tip - It's very important that the icecream is completely frozen!
If it's thawing ; together with the warmth of your hand, will speed up the thawing /melting process much quicker.
Then it'll really be difficult to cut through.
.
If cut appropriately, it will yield you 3, maybe even 4 ice cream sandwhiches!
Step 4
The Final result!
Consider the macro and calorie content in each one. It will be high in calories.
So eat at your discretion ;^)
Let me know if you try it out and what tweaks you may have done with this :^D
till next time!
