I read someone’s post today about Korea chicken. The picture shown is mouth-watering. That was the moment I remember the recipe I have kept a couple of year back. I’ve it made it many times with great success! And it is not hard at all!

We need to first prepare the marinade and the chicken pieces.

Ingredients:

Marinade
1/2 cup of honey
1/4 cup of regular soy sauce
4 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of ginger powder
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon of red chili flakes

Chicken Pieces
3 lbs of chicken legs with skin
4 green onions
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

Steps:
Part 1
Chop up the chicken legs into pieces. Mix all the marinade ingredients in a big bowl, then soak all the chicken pieces in the marinade.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge overnight.

Part 2
Preheat oven to 375F/200C. Place the chicken pieces on a baking pan (with parchment). Keep the marinade for basting later.

Put chicken pieces in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Pull out and baste them. Then, put them back and bake for another 20 minutes, until the skin turns brown.

Chop the green onions and mix with sesame seeds

Remove the tray from oven, and sprinkle the green onion and sesame mix on to the pieces. Then serve.

Let me know how it turns out!!
