They look good, I like the sound of the chicken and onions ones and I think I prefer the dough thicker, I remember trying camel milk a long time ago and I preferred cows milk but didn't completely dislike the camels one but probably not something I would look for to drink @joythewanderer

I hope you do enjoying your Journey there.
You should go to Sayram Hu Lake -赛里木湖 , not too far from where you are.
Probably, The closest to you Balkhash Lake.

Amazing picture! I want to visit Sayram now. It looks so serene!

Looks wonderful! Maybe it's called five fingers because all fingers are used for scooping up the broth and soup? I lived in India for a while, and that's how people there eat their dahls and sambar. Never use a spoon, just experts in getting any kind of food from plate to mouth without use of utensils :).

It can be. Thanks for coming by, Amrita. Now I start to miss all the tasty food in India!

Well, that makes two of us! :)

Thank you for sharing, i know nothing about kazakstan so im happy steemit teach me something, also if are food info, samsa seems tasty, remind me the indian Samosa! Camel milk seems something i must try, i never heard about it!

I saw the food stopped right here! !

All looks delicious. I think camel milk would be too strong for me too but maybe camel cheese would be nice:)

Ah. I see similarities between Samsa and Beshbarmak with foods that my Grandmother made, particularly the soup.

I can eat most anything that won't eat me, and trying and even looking other dishes is always very interesting to me.

Thanks Joy, for a wonderful look at a real ethnic meal. I appreciate it.

Thanks for coming by, bigtom :)
Interesting your grandma make similar food, is she from Central Asia, maybe?

No, she was born in the Volga district in Russia. German speaking colonists. She was in Canada by the time she was two, so it would have to be cultural, learned from her mother.

Meat filled pastries and boiled meat (beef or pork) big noodle soup. I loved her noodles.

It’s interesting. That explains it. Russia and the -stan countries share a lot of food culture in common.
