Slim body= greater tolerance

There are different types of diets that work for different types of people. Part of this is due to how one's body responds and the other part is due to a less physiological and more psychological aspect. The physiological nature is often controlled by insulin, which at the most basic level, is a storage hormone. In general, the lower the body fat you have, the better your sensitivity to insulin. Which means you can eat more carbs. While insulin is important for weight loss and overall health, it is not a black-and-white situation.

you cannot be assumed that diets high in carbohydrates are bad, just as you cannot be assumed that diets high in protein or fat are bad. There are different types of diets that work for different types of people.
If you are more resistant to insulin, it doesn't mean you can't lose weight, but it has a big impact on the type of diet you follow. If you are more sensitive to insulin, your body will respond better to a high-carbohydrate diet. If you are less sensitive (more resilient), you may often feel that more carbohydrates will go directly into your intestine or buttocks. And most of the time, it's not just in your head.
A more balanced approach is to select a diet and then measure fat loss every two to four weeks (but not more often).
