Ingredients of Jambalaya
450 gm chicken sausage
1 stalk celery
4 pinches black pepper
450 gm chicken breasts
1 cup chicken stock
2 dash brown basmati rice
1 tablespoon canola oil/ rapeseed oil
1 medium capsicum (green pepper)
1/2 small diced onion
1 1/2 teaspoon cajun pepper
1 cup tomato
5 pinches salt
How to make Jambalaya
Step 1
For making this main course recipe, take a deep sauce pan and add 2 cup of water. Boil the sausages for 10 minutes. Drain it.
Step 2
Now take a wok, heat canola oil over medium-high heat; saute sausage, celery, capsicum and onion until vegetables start to soften, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add chicken breast and cajun pepper into the vegetable mixture. Mix well
Step 4
Pour broth and tomatoes into the wok; bring to a boil, add the rice and salt, stir.
Step 5
Reduce heat to medium-low, cover the wok and simmer it for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Remove cover, stir, and continue to simmer until the rice has absorbed the liquid.
Step 7
Serve hot.
