Today we tried our first attempt at making snow cones in a cup. Without a ice crusher or blender, we did it the old fashion way with a hammer and towel by slowly taking time to break the ice cubes into pieces. After helping with the ice breaking part, the kids took over in making their own treat. Placing enough crush ice in each cup and slowly pouring the flavor syrup into their cups. They were ecstatic that they made their own juice ice cream. The end verdict of today's treat project? 2 thumbs up!
